Our Health Care Heroes

Ever since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act, the health care law has been under attack from opponents of reform.

Some opponents have even gone so far as to question the patriotism and Americanism of supporters of the law. But, despite what some opponents would have you think, many of our founding fathers and key historical leaders were strong supporters of access to quality health care. Learn more about our American health care heroes by reading the blogs below.

Afterwards, share your modern day health care heroes with us. Whether it's an advocate fighting for access to quality care in your community or, a volunteer who takes care of the disadvantaged and sick, we all know special heroes who are working hard to help advance the cause of social justice.

A few of your health care heroes will be featured on our blog, so everyone can learn how people are making a difference. Click here and nominate your modern-day health care hero!
