will officially start its organizing campaign to win wide popular support for
health care reform. According to the White House Web site, "After decades of false starts, the dream of quality, affordable health
care for every American is finally within reach. To succeed where others
have failed, we must build a groundswell
of support for real health care reform in every district and every state.
And we have no time to lose."

Republicans in the House recently went to work writing
health care reform legislation, even though the GOP leadership is playing ball
with the Democrats crafting legislation. Why? Representative Richard Burr of
North Carolina told
reporters, "I think within two hours of seeing [the Democrats' plan,]
we'll be able to tell people why it won't work."
